Bangladesh is the fastest developing country of SAARC in Asia. Sylhet is the spiritual capital of this green and riverside country. Where numerous Ulama Mashayekh, Sufi dervish and the abode of wise men.

 

At the end of that pure land Sylhet district, Chatalpar belongs to Ward No. 2 of Sadipur Union No. 2 of the newly formed Osmani Nagar Upazila, Chatalpar is located in the picturesque environment of Shyamal Palli, 15 km south west of the upazila headquarters, just four km west of Begumpur on the Dhaka-Sylhet highway, under the shade of thousands of trees Chatalpar Jamea Islamia Dakhil Madrasah.

 

Among the 14 unions of the former Balaganj upazila, Sadipur Union No. 2 is the largest union. As there is no Dakhil (Aliya) Madrasah within this huge union, the boys/girls of the area are being deprived of proper religious education. Therefore, to educate the boys/girls of the area in Islamic education with the aim of achieving the welfare of this world and the hereafter, the late Alhaj Tabarak uyllah (Badsha) and Alhaj Rabizan Bibi, the successor son Alhaj Mr. Nizam Uddin Sahib of the village, on 7th January 2000, 100 hundred (one acre) of land. He founded the madrasa.

 

Since the dedication, the four brothers of Mr. Nizam Uddin Sahib, Mr. Alhaj Golzar Uddin, Mr. Alhaj Qajad Uddin, Mr. Alhaj Abdul Wahid, Mr. Alhaj Lifas Uddin declared their solidarity in this great work and joined hands and shoulder to shoulder with the elder brother Mr. Nizam Uddin Sahib to the floor of Madrasah. He is trying to reach by trusting in Almighty Allah.

Under the supervision of Mr. Hafiz Ataur Rahman (Tabir) Mr. Qari Abdun Nur, Mr. Mao Shamsuzzaman and Mr. Chalik Uddin, the journey started with the construction of 1 tin set house step by step.

 

After taking charge as the first superintendent in 2002, Mr. Mao Md. Abdul Hai Al Hadi was able to obtain Dakhil ninth grade teaching permit in 2004 and academic recognition in 2007 through his tireless work and relentless efforts. Currently, the Jamia is bustling with around 700 (seven hundred) students and 15 experienced teachers.

 

Osmani Nagar, Balaganj and Sylhet districts have already managed to gain reputation by achieving enviable results every year in ebtedayee final, class 8th (JDC) and Dakhil examinations.

 

In the world of Islamic culture, there is a bright walk of Jamea. Weekly social gatherings, annual competitions, athletics and wall hangings for the purpose of building skilled pen soldiers.
